I've created a monster – The slim-shady features 18 IR LEDs, 8 of which are exceptionally high output, even more than blasters who claim to feature more LEDs. and also run COOLER than any other IR blaster on the market. (Yes, Even when used with high signal rates (up to 1Mhz) the board dissipates heat better than other blasters.)
Designed to be slimmer, and compact; the board doesn't overhang like other blasters do either, except in the one way it matters: slightly on the sides so that you can remove it easily without bending the pins!
it has been designed to work with or without a silicone sleeve, and with it's flush mount, lack of visible status LEDs, and compact statue, it doesn't draw attention to it's user.
It might not transmit 8 miles but it feels like it 😉
Remember, before you go ordering some other IR Board… It just might be the next best thing but not quite me!
So I guess it's Back to the lab again; Better go capture this blaster and hope it don't run out of stock 😉 Though I plan on regular restocks… Guess there's a Slim Shady for all of us <3
