Based on the EORA-PI, the Meshtastic RL-ReadyNode is a turn-key meshtastic node ready to go. We have done the heavy-lifting in building, flashing, assembling, and testing these units by hand using only the best materials available to us. Outfitted with a case designed by our good friend, zr_crackiin (DownUndaPrints – Etsy) this tiny Meshtastic node is ready to rock-and-roll for hours on a single charge!
These RL-ReadyNodes debuted at Def Con 32 in Las Vegas where myself and several people were walking around with them for the whole week. Even in a very traffic-saturated environment, the batteries in these units lasted approx. 1 Day and when powered from an external 20,000 mAh battery pack, lasted a full 7 days and still had ~70% of the battery pack remaining.
Each Meshtastic RL-ReadyNode comes equipped with the following:
- Lab-Printed Custom Case designed by zr_crackiin
- USB-C Charging and Connectivity!
- Easy-To-Update using 1200bps Reset Method (https://flasher.meshtastic.org/)
- Recessed Power Switch and Reset button prevents accidental Power-Off/On when in a pocket
- 1000-1100mAh Lithium-Polymer Cell (All RL Cells are UN38.8 Certified for Safety – https://www.intertek.com/batteries/un-38-3-testing/)
- EORA-PI (ESP32-S3 + E22-900MM22S LORA Module)
- LORA Module is Region Unlocked – you must select the region and verify that it is legal to operate in your region! By Default we will be shipping these with 915Mhz Antennas however your region may require 868Mhz or 433Mhz. Please note that this module will operate at both 915Mhz and 868Mhz and is software controlled! (433Mhz requires a different LORA module and is not currently available… yet.)
