UPDATE! – VERSION 2.2 (EXTERNAL ANTENNA) & VERSION 2.4 (ON BOARD ANTENNA) HAVE JUST RELEASED
Featuring a new front graphic- the iconic RL Rabbit, both versions (external and on board antennas) are now PRUPLE, and have PRUPLE LEDs instead of blue, as well some of the components used have been changed for improved performance, **the size and shape of the boards remain the same, therefore, any existing cases/covers will fit the new versions just as they did the previous**
This is a 5v NRF24 + PA Expansion board!
you read that right, 5v!
What’s so Special about this board?
Most Expansion boards require the use of both headers, and are much larger, often doubling the size of the device. Because this board is designed to operate off the 5v output instead of the 3.3v output, it is able to fit within the smaller 8-pin header. The board is also much more compact!
REMINDER: To use this board, you must enable 5v on GPIO each time you want to use it! The pruple LED will turn on If the board has power.
v2.2? v2.4? Which is right for me?
So the difference between v2.2 and v2.4 is the antenna, or lack there of and the “advertised distance”.
v2.2 requires the use of an external antenna, connected via the small IPX/IPEX port on the edge of the board.
v2.4 does not require an antenna and has a slightly modified design to allow for an on-board antenna.
So why not just order v2.4?! **Custom antennas! Increased Range!**
Yeah, so the v2.2 is designed to be able to be connected to a higher gain antenna which relates to possibly better range whereas v2.4 is designed to be more discrete / less to carry.
Make sure when you order, you order the version that suits your need(s) Or both!

The most suitable and compact ,and it’s ready to work just by plugging it in ,so special modifications /configuration is NOT required
The signal is very clean
Thank you very much RL for this wonderful product
