Description
>> YOUR FLIPPER USED TO LAST ALL WEEK. MAKE IT DO THAT AGAIN. <<
Remember when your Flipper Zero sat in your bag for days and still woke up ready? Then the cycles piled up. Now it drains overnight, the battery health warnings start popping up, and the percentage jumps around like it’s guessing. The hardware is fine. The cell is tired.
The Rabbit-Labs Replacement Battery for Flipper Zero is a custom-built 2100mAh, 3.7V lithium polymer pack, matched to the capacity of the original cell and built from the ground up as a direct replacement. Not a generic pouch with the wrong connector and a wire you have to splice. Not a lookalike that almost fits.
Built for the Flipper’s power system. The Flipper Zero runs a real fuel gauge and charge controller, and they expect a real battery. This pack carries a built-in protection circuit and a thermistor on the third wire, so the Flipper can watch cell temperature and manage charging the way it was designed to. Three wires in, three wires out, exactly like the original.
Precision fit. Correct footprint for the stock battery holder and a precision-length lead that routes cleanly past the SD card slot, terminated in a connector that clicks in and stays put.

Applications that matter:
Revive a Tired Flipper. If your Flipper won’t hold a charge, throws battery health warnings, or drops percentage fast, a fresh cell brings back the multi-day standby it shipped with.
Field Kit Insurance. Keep a spare on the shelf. A Flipper that’s dead when you need it is just a dolphin-shaped paperweight.
Refurb & Repair. Restoring a used or secondhand Flipper Zero? Start with a known-good battery and a calibrated gauge.
New cell. Clean gauge. Back to work.
▌README.TXT – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Compatibility: This battery is a direct replacement for the internal battery in the Flipper Zero. Installation requires opening the device. To charge to a true 100% and get accurate battery readings, you will also need to calibrate the Flipper’s fuel gauge with the Gauge Tool: https://github.com/tehrabbitt/flipperzero_gauge_tool
Step 1: Open the Flipper Power the Flipper off and carefully disassemble it. Take care not to bend or break the iButton pins, and do not tear any ribbon cables.
Step 2: Remove the Battery Holder Unplug the battery from the main board and lift the black plastic battery holder out of the Flipper. Note how the battery lead is routed through the small opening near the SD card slot.
Step 3: Remove the Old Battery The original battery is held in by two strips of double-sided adhesive tape. Use a plastic spudger or a guitar pick and work slowly so you do not crack the holder. Never use metal or sharp tools. Never bend, puncture, or force the battery. Before removing it, note which way the wire exits and how the battery sits under the small plastic clips.
Step 4: Install the New Battery Seat the new battery in the holder with the wire side tucked UNDER the small plastic clips, so the clips do not press into the edge of the pouch. Press it down flush. Go slowly here.
Step 5: Reconnect Route the lead back through the slot near the SD card, without pinching the wires. Check the connector orientation before pressing it in. Plugging it in reversed can permanently damage your Flipper. The new connector latches and takes more force than the original press-fit connector. Press it in with a smooth, flat tool along the top of the connector until it clicks. Fingernails will not do it.
Step 6: Reassemble Carefully reassemble the Flipper and power it on.
Step 7: Install the Gauge Tool Download the Gauge Tool from the link above, compile it with ufbt, and copy it to your Flipper. A ready-to-install .fap is in the works.
Step 8: Unseal and Charge Open the Gauge Tool and press LEFT to select UNSEAL. Wait for the status to change, then charge the Flipper to 100%.
Step 9: Reset At 100%, open the Gauge Tool and press RIGHT to select RESET. Plug the Flipper back in and charge to 100% again. It will usually drop to about 95% after the reset.
Step 10: Mark Full Once it reaches 100% again, open the Gauge Tool and press CENTER to select FULL. This marks the battery as full and records the state of charge, completing calibration.
PRO TIP: The gauge gets smarter with use. If the percentage still drifts after a few charge cycles, run Steps 8 through 10 again. Most Flipper battery “problems” after a swap are calibration, not the cell.
▌DEBUG LOG – TROUBLESHOOTING
ISSUE: Flipper won’t power on after installation. FIX: Open it back up and check that the connector is fully latched and in the correct orientation. The new battery ships at about 30% charge, so plug the Flipper into USB-C power and let it charge before testing again.
ISSUE: Battery won’t charge past 95% or so. FIX: The fuel gauge is still calibrated to the old cell. Run the Gauge Tool calibration (Steps 8 through 10). Repeat after a few charge cycles if needed.
ISSUE: Battery percentage jumps or seems inaccurate. FIX: Normal for the first few cycles after a swap while the gauge learns the new cell. Complete a full charge and discharge cycle, then recalibrate with the Gauge Tool.
ISSUE: Connector won’t go in. FIX: Check the orientation first, then press firmly with a flat tool along the top of the connector. It latches and needs more force than the original. Never force it in reversed.
ISSUE: Flipper case won’t close flush. FIX: The battery is not seated under the clips or the lead is pinched. Reopen, reseat the battery flat under the clips, and reroute the lead through the slot near the SD card.
ISSUE: Battery is swollen, hot, or smells sweet or chemical. FIX: Stop immediately. Disconnect it if you can do so safely, move it to a non-flammable area, and take it to a battery recycling drop-off. Do not charge, puncture, or reuse it.
▌SYS.WARN – WARNINGS, HAZARDS & DISCLAIMERS
Lithium Battery Hazard. Lithium polymer batteries can catch fire, vent, or explode if punctured, crushed, short-circuited, overcharged, or overheated. Misusing or mishandling lithium batteries can cause serious personal injury, property damage, or death. Replacing a lithium battery is dangerous and should only be attempted at your own risk by users who understand how to handle them safely.
Battery Removal. Never use metal or sharp tools to remove the original battery. Puncturing a lithium battery can cause a violent release of hot, toxic gas and burning electrolyte, which can start a fire. Use plastic tools only and work slowly.
